The ACORNS programme has been designed to support early-stage female entrepreneurs living in rural Ireland and runs over six months part-time. Currently, there are up to 50 places available in ACORNS 11. Those wishing to apply must first register their interest via the website. The deadline for applications is midnight, September 22nd.

The objective of the Beef Welfare Scheme 2025 (BWS) is to further increase the economic efficiency of and enhance animal health and husbandry on suckler farms. Applications must be made on agfood.ie. The closing date for applications to the Beef Welfare Scheme is 23.59:59hrs on 24 September 2025.

The spreading of organic fertilisers (other than farmyard manure) is prohibited from 1 October 2025.
