The non-profit organisation provides valuable training in hedge laying, an ancient skill crucial for sustaining Ireland’s hedgerows.
The Programme began with an Introduction to Hedge Laying in Balbriggan, Co. Dublin, on January 12th and 13th, and another in Swords, Co. Dublin, on January 26th and 27th . The programme continues with a Coppice Day in Annacurra, Co. Wicklow, on February 3rd (fully booked), a Hedgerow Planting session with Farming for Nature in Killaloe, Co. Clare, on February 7th (booking available), and a one-day Introduction to Hedge Laying in Monageer, Co. Wexford, on February 24th.
While the Intermediate/Advanced Hedge Laying in Celbridge, Co. Kildare, on February 10th and 11th is fully booked, additional dates and locations will be added, with inquiries for community group training days welcomed.
