An Organic Tillage & Vegetables Project Launch & Open Day will take place on the farm of Tommy Delahunt, Ballinaclogh, Co. Wicklow,. The event will showcase Practical Innovations in Weed Control & Machinery Sharing.

This event is part of a European Innovation Partnership (EIP) initiative focused on developing farmer led, practical solutions for organic crop production, with a strong focus on weed control, machinery sharing and the use of innovative technologies.

The open day will showcase how collaboration between farmers, Teagasc advisors and industry partners can support more efficient and sustainable organic tillage and vegetable systems. The project is working to address key challenges in organic production, particularly in relation to weed control, labour efficiency and access to suitable machinery.
