The €4 million National Dairy Beef Weighing Scheme (NDBWS), a new initiative aimed at supporting farmers diversify their herd into beef, has been launched.

Farmers can submit their applications online via agfood.ie. The application window closes at midnight on Thursday, 15 May 2025. However, late applications will be accepted—subject to payment deductions—until midnight on Monday, 9 June 2025.
