Registration has now opened for the European LEADER Congress 2024 which will take place in Poitiers, France on the 2nd-3rd of October. This event, organised by the European LEADER Association for Rural Development (ELARD), will provide Local Action Groups (LAGs) from across Europe with the opportunity to gather together to discuss cooperation within the LEADER approach. The event invites, in particular, LAG personnel with new project ideas, or those who are encountering challenges initiating or implementing a project.
The condensed agenda for the event is outlined below. It is split into two main parts: a plenary session and LEADER cooperation award ceremony on day one, and a cooperation fair and a series of mini conferences on day 2.

- 2pm: Plenary session – Why cooperate?
- 3.30pm: European LEADER Cooperation Award Ceremony
- 4pm: Roundtable with project winners
- 8pm: Networking dinner
Thursday 3rd October
- 9am-4pm: Mini conferences, Cooperation stands and Cooperation fair
- 12.30pm: Lunch
- 4pm: Visit of the park
- 8pm: Closing evening show
