Knowledge Transfer Programme

General Overview:

The Knowledge Transfer (KT) Programme will run for three years, overseen by DAFM. It will be executed through a network of authorised KT Facilitators, with active farmer involvement. The primary goal of the Programme is to promote the exchange of knowledge and innovation among advisors, farmers, and various stakeholders. This initiative is pivotal in assisting farmers in addressing both present and future challenges.

The authorised KT facilitators comprise of Agricultural Advisors who applied to participate in the programme during summer 2023, and who hold the required certifications.

Rates of Payment:

For every year of the KT programme, each participant will receive €750 once all requirements are met. The KT facilitators will receive €500 per group member per year who meets all requirements.

As of October 2023, there was a number of 472 Agricultural Advisors who applied to participate in the KT programme.
