Community and volunteering organisations play a vital role in facilitating and fostering social cohesion in Louth. They provide essential services and address local needs, ranging from education and training to environmental conservation.
In response to this, Louth Local Community Development Committee are now seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for the following targeted call:
Theme: Economic Development and Job Creation
Sub-Theme: Social, Community & Cooperative Enterprises
Local Objective: Development and Strengthening of the Social, Community & Cooperative Enterprise Sector of County Louth
Strategic Action: Strengthening Community and Volunteering Organisations
This call seeks to enhance the initiatives that community and voluntary organisations deliver so that every resident of Louth feels connected with their community.
Potential areas that can be funded under this action include:
• Funding for local projects
• Funding for training/capacity building initiatives
• Establish/expand an elderly care service
Total Budget Available: €147,000
Maximum Grant Aid per project: €50,000
– Community Groups up to a maximum of €50,000 or 75%, whichever is the lesser
– Enterprises up to a maximum of €50,000 or 50%, whichever is the lesser
Minimum Grant Aid per project: €5,000
Closing Date: 15th October 2025 at 12 noon.
