The fourth annual Night and Day Festival, delivered by Cruachan Productions Ltd., welcomed over 6,000 attendees to the scenic shores of Lough Key on the weekend of the 27-29 June, marking a major milestone in the cultural and economic development of the region. The event was supported by the LEADER Programme administered by Roscommon LCDC, Roscommon LEADER Partnership and Roscommon County Council. This collaborative effort is helping to drive tourism, economic growth, and cultural vibrancy across County Roscommon.
Lough Key Forest Park was transformed into a haven of creativity and community spirit, as festivalgoers enjoyed a rich and diverse musical line-up. A host of renowned artists performed over the weekend, including Paul Brady, The Stunning, José González, Lisa Hannigan, The Wailers, Sultans of Ping, Fionn Regan, Hermitage Green, Joshua Burnside, Efa O’Neill, Nialler9, and many more.
Funding secured through LEADER supported key marketing elements—including radio ad campaign, festival flags, and local newspaper advertising—enabling the festival to reach a wide audience and attract thousands of visitors from across Ireland and beyond. This strategic investment helped deliver a record-breaking turnout and a significant economic boost for the local area.
