The Irish Agroforestry Forum, with support from the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM), Teagasc, and the Society of Irish Foresters, is hosting a free applied agroforestry training session tailored for professional foresters. Proposals are being sought for projects that promote children’s and young person’s safety awareness on farms for the next five years. Funding of €200,000 is being provided from the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) dedicated farm safety budget for 2025, with an option to extend the contract for a further four years.
