This event is for anyone interested in learning about, or advocating for local food systems – policy makers, people working for services and agencies, practitioners, researchers, activists, campaigners and small businesses using or interested in using local ingredients in their products.

We will:

*Strengthen climate resilience by developing meaningful connections between local food producers—especially women—and key decision-makers

*Bridge the gap between local growers and practitioners and policymakers to support the development of climate-conscious, community-rooted supply chains.

*Encourage a cultural shift toward valuing and supporting local growers, even amid increasingly unpredictable climate conditions.

*Promote knowledge exchange that enables local producers to secure stable markets while reducing the environmental impact of long-distance food distribution.

*Cocreate strategies for advocating within local food systems.
