The Department of Rural and Community Development is holding a public consultation event to inform the next phase of Ireland’s rural development policy for the period 2026-2030.

The consultation workshop will allow stakeholders and members of the public to discuss:

– The opportunities available to rural Ireland in the next 5 years, and what steps need to be taken in order to realise these opportunities?

– The challenges facing rural Ireland in the next 5 years, and what solutions are needed to address these challenges?
