The commencement of payments for claims submitted under the Targeted Agriculture Modernisation Scheme (TAMS III) have been announced.
Payments to the value of almost €1.4 million under the Targeted Agriculture Modernisation Scheme (TAMS III) have begun to be issued and will continue to be issued on a weekly basis as claims are submitted in respect of completed investments. The Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine (DAFM) have also confirmed the continuing issue of approvals across all TAMS III schemes.
Over 12,000 approvals to commence investments have been issued to Tranche 1 and Tranche 2 applications. The continued processing of payment claims will be made on a daily basis.”
Reflecting on the TAMS programme so far, Minister of Agriculture, Food and the Marine, Charlie McConalogue, T.D. said:
“TAMS has been a hugely successful and beneficial scheme since its inception, with a wide range of investment items supported across all farming sectors. It has delivered key modernisation, environmental and safety improvements on thousands of farms across the country, while also supporting local economies in the construction phase of developments. I would encourage all existing applicants with approvals to submit their payment claims as soon as they are complete.”
