This list contains important dates for October and November 2024 and is intended as a resource to stay up to date with the latest deadlines regarding schemes and regulations in Irish agriculture. October 2024
Nutrient Applications
The period for spreading slurry closed on the 1st of October in all areas
The final date for submission to the National Fertiliser Database (NFD) of closing stock of fertiliser on farms and premises is the 15th of October. This can be done at agfood.ie
Call for proposals to Optimise Short Food Supply Chains
The application deadline is the 11th of October
BISS and CRISS
The Department is on track to facilitate advance payments under the Basic Income Support for Sustainability (BISS), Complementary Income Support for Sustainability (CRISS) from the 16th of October
Eco-scheme
Payments under the Eco-scheme are due to begin from the 21st of October
ACRES
The second Non-Productive Investments (NPIs) application window opened on the 17th September and will close at the end of October 2024 (Date to be confirmed)
Hedge Cutting
The season is open in October
November 2024
Nutrient Applications
The period for spreading farmyard manure closes on the 1st of November in all areas.
European Innovation Partnership (EIPs)
The closing date on Expressions of Interest Calls for European Innovation Partnership (EIPs) across the themes of ‘Promoting Generational Renewal on Irish Farms’ (Call 4) and ‘Fostering the Use of Digital Technologies on Irish Farms’ (Call 5) is 5pm on Monday, 4th of November.
Suckler Carbon Efficiency Scheme (SCEP)
Mandatory training must be completed by the 15th of November. The training can be completed on line here. A SCEP Training Support video is available to guide you through the process. The video can be found here.
ACRES
Advance Payments for Tranche 1 (year 2) and Tranche 2 (year 1) to commence at end of November (Date to be confirmed)
Hedge Cutting
The season remains open in November
