This will include the importance of forests for climate change mitigation and their adaptation and resilience against weather events. This is the sixth iteration of the Forestry KTG Scheme. \nNote\, completed applications for The Forestry Knowledge Transfer Group (KTG) Scheme must be emailed to: forestryktg@agriculture.gov.ie by 4pm on Tuesday 11th of March.

SUMMARY:Subgroup on Innovation and Knowledge Exchange (SoIKE) - 8th meeting
DESCRIPTION:The eighth meeting of the Subgroup on Innovation and Knowledge Exchange (SoIKE) will be held in Brussels on Tuesday 11 March 2025.\n\nSince October 2022\, the SoIKE has started its activities as part of the EU CAP Network.\n\nThe SoIKE offers a platform to:\n\n– identify common issues\, good practices and opportunities for peer-to-peer learning\, related to training and advice\, and to innovation and knowledge exchange | EIP-AGRI;\n\n– support the implementation of the AKIS strategic approach\, and facilitate networking and exchanges between AKIS actors\, including transnational initiatives of Operational Group projects;\n\n-provide input for the work programme of the EU CAP Network\, in particular of the Support Facility for Innovation and Knowledge Exchange | EIP-AGRI.\n\nSoIKE meetings are by invitation only. Invitations are sent to the organisations that are represented in the Subgroup on Innovation and Knowledge Exchange.
